Napalm Death Announce New 7″ EP Logic Ravaged by Brute Force for February 2020 Release Featuring Cover of Sonic Youth’s “White Kross”

You can just hear the gears of 2020 spinning now, particularly so with such releases as those by groups like Napalm Death on the horizon. The grindcore band has announced a new 7″ titled Logic Ravaged by Brute Force for release this coming February. According to Kerrang!, the new record is synced up to the group’s upcoming Campaign For Musical Destruction tour alongside acts like EyeHateGod and Misery Index. So far, what is known of the new EP is that it will include a cover of Sonic Youth’s 1987 single “White Kross.” As one can imagine, the cover is dialed up to eleven as its screeching guitars and ripping vocals inflame eardrums delightfully so. Listen below, at the volume of preference.

Napalm Death has been churning out intense tunes since the early ’80s, with a British hangover from punk’s ’60s rise they have managed to create a style that is ever-pleasing and mosh-pit tailored. The group, which currently consists of bassist Shane Embury, guitarist Mitch Harris, vocalist Mark Andrew “Barney” Greenway, and drummer Danny Herrera, shows no signs of slowing down as besides the upcoming 7″ they are teasing 2020 full-length on the way. Check out the tour dates below to possibly catch some of the madness.

UPDATE (2/7): Napalm Death’s cover of “White Kross” and new song “Logic Ravaged by Brute Force” are both now available online and streaming services. Check them out below:
