The New Regime Releases Colorful Performance Video for “Heart Mind Body and Soul”

Ahead of his month-long tour supporting Silversun Pickups, The New Regime, the solo project of former Nine Inch Nail and Angels & Airwaves member Ilan Rubin, released a track and music video for “Heart Mind Body & Soul.” The song is the title track of his upcoming LP, Body, Rubin’s third since starting the project in 2007.

Body is set for release on January 24th and follows The New Regime’s first two parts Heart and Mind, off the upcoming full-length album Heart Mind Body & Soul out this Spring. The new single follows last month’s release of “It’s Gonna Be OK,” a song about keeping your head up when times are down.

The music video for “Heart Mind Body & Soul” sees Rubin howl his intentions and determination into the mic, while his face his shadowed as the background constantly changes colors. The heavy bass line and distorted sound fade through as Rubin makes his way through the chorus and into the verses:

I want your heart, mind, body, and soul

Weapons of words flying in every direction

Trying to change your feeble perception

He’s hungry for a big piece of the pie

And he’ll take it with a side of you and I
