English folk artist Richard Dawson just released the visuals to his eerie “Dead Dog in an Alleyway,” off of his newest album, 2020. The song is a reflection of Dawson’s world view, as the dead dog represents the ugliness and dreariness in the world that Dawson, as well as all of us, come into contact with in his and our daily lives.
Dawson’s 2020 was a huge critical success, as many critics reveled in Dawson’s ability to portray the world as he sees it through his music. “Two Halves,” also off of 2020, was given the honor of one of our favorite songs of 2019. See what other songs made the cut for the best songs 0f 2019 here.
