Ozzy Osbourne Announces New Album Ordinary Man Featuring Elton John, Slash and Duff McKagan for February 2020 Release

Heavy metal godfather Ozzy Osbourne has announced a February 21st release date for his upcoming album Ordinary Man, which will be released via Epic Records. This upcoming project will be Osbourne’s 12th solo album, following-up from his 2010 release Scream, and features the likes of rock legend Elton John, Guns N Roses members Slash and Duff McKagan and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

This upcoming studio effort is produced by Post Malone producer Andrew Watt, who handled most of the guitar work recorded for the album. McKagan handled most of the bass recordings for these studio sessions, while Smith handled the drum recordings. Slash is guest feature on the tracks “Straight To Hell,” and the upcoming Elton John  feature “Ordinary Man,” which serves as the project’s title track.

The performer has recently rescheduled his No More Tours 2 events with Marilyn Manson for this year, after recovering from a recent surgery. He recently explained the new changes he experienced after recording another studio effort after a nearly decade long hiatus between his last two studio albums.

“This is my first recording in a studio for ten years, so I do feel a bit out of touch. Music goes straight online these days and that’s quicker than it takes me to write a text,” Osbourne explained in a recent interview with The Sun.”It’s all about downloads and streaming now. What the fuck does that mean? What’s Spotify? I thought it was a skin problem where you woke up spotified.”
