Watch Fan-Made Concert Footage of My Chemical Romance’s Reunion Show

Pop punk/emo megastars My Chemical Romance just held their first show in six years at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California on December 20th. This reunion show was captured by multiple fans, and eventually compiled together into an hour and forty minute long video by a YouTube user named Jeyzeus Hays. The video, titled My Chemical Romance – Live in California 2019, captures every moment of the band’s highly anticipated reunion show.

Hays noted that the project is not official, however he stated that he worked on the project so that fans would have “the closest we are gonna get to a proper copy of the show.” This was compiled through various video and audio sources, and was intended to be a high quality fan made film of their recent show.

“This is the full concert, edited together using thousands of cuts, merged audio, [and] multiple HD video sources to create a high quality version of the show,” Hays wrote on Reddit. “I’ve been working on it since the night of the show. It’s not official by any means, but it is the closest we are gonna get to a proper copy of the show.”

Since announcing their return in Los Angeles, the band have been confirmed for an appearance at the Download music festivals in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, and have also been confirmed for an appearance at Download Festival Japan. They also experienced return onto the Billboard charts since the announcement of their reunion show.
