Brooklyn based rock band Yeasayer has announced that the band will be breaking up. Formed in 2006, the trio has announced the breakup of the band after 15 years and 5 studio albums.

Yeasayer has made their way as an experimental rock trio through harmonious vocals and stellar production techniques implemented by all 3 members of the band. While the band drew influence from various other progressive and experimental bands, lyrics, poems, and books have been a driving force for the way Yeasayer writes and produces their music.
