Pinkpop has announced its 2020 lineup with headlining sets from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N’ Roses and Post Malone. performers include Twenty-One Pilots, Deftones, Volbeat, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, and Of Monsters and Men. 2020 will mark the festival’s 51st run, with its 50th celebration including headling sets from The Cure, Fleetwood Mac, and Mumford and Sons. Past performers include System of a Down, Paul Mccartney, Green Day, Major Lazer, and Kings of Leon.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers recently made an announcement that guitarist John Frusciante will be rejoining the band since leaving 10 years ago. The band announced Frusciante’s return “with great excitement, and full hearts,” while thanking Klinghoffer for his time with the band and “the countless gifts he shared with us.”The band’s current guitarist, Josh Klinghoffer, had been with the band for two album cycles. They will be hitting the festival circuit for 2020, with most recently being announced as a headliner for the annual Hangout Music Festival, playing alongside Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Lana Del Rey, and Marshmello.
