Run The Jewels, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Refused and More Confirmed for Cyberpunk 2077 Soundtrack

At tonight’s Game Awards, the star-studded musical lineup for the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack was announced. The names included in the soundtrack will be the previously-announced Refused, who will serve as the voice and sounds of in-game band Samurai. According to Pitchfork, Grimes will appear in the game as character, the fictional pop star Lizzy Wizzy.

According to PSU, others who will contribute to the soundtrack include Games Award performer Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Run The Jewels, Ilan Rubin of The New Regime, Richard Devine, Nina Kraviz, Deadly Hunta, Rat Boy and Tina Gud. Check out the announcement video below:

Cyberpunk 2077 is the sequal to Cyberpunk 2020, taking place 57 years after its predecessor. The game is set in the dystopian Night City and is a first-person, open-world RPG. It’s a highly anticipated game, with the developers giving some details about the game recently. The game did receive some pushback after it was revealed that the game may use microtransactions to monetize the multiplayer mode despite earlier reports the game will have no microtransactions, though the developer CD Projekt Red assured fans that it will be a good value and not a cash grab.
