Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio Announce Spring 2020 Co-Headlining Tour Dates

American punk band, Bad Religion, and American rock band, Alkaline Trio, announced their spring 2020, co-headlining tour date. The bands will be kicking off their tour with a show in Los Angeles, CA.

“This tour is extra special,” said lead singer of Bad Religion, Greg Graffin. “Not only are we celebrating our 40th anniversary, but we get to do it with Alkaline Trio, who are such a great band.” Graffin went on to mention his excitement for the upcoming tour.

The co-vocalist and guitarist of Alkaline trio, Matt Skiba, also expressed his enthusiasm for the tour in a press release. He mentioned listening to Bad Religion for the first time when he was 12, and how they were one of his inspirations, leading him to play punk rock music.

“I remember exactly where I was the first time I heard “Suffer” around the age of 12,” said Skiba. “They are one of the very reasons I started playing punk rock music and continue to today. This tour is going to be epic on many levels.”

Skiba is also a member of the world-famous American rock band, Blink-182. He recently joined the band in 2015 as an official member, after filling in for three shows in Mar. 2015.

Bad Religion has recently released their seventeenth album, Age of Unreason, earlier this year in May. The band mentioned how this newly released album is not designed to feel good, it is meant to motivate the listener to act.

Alkaline Trio released their ninth studio album, Is This Thing Cursed?, via Epitaph Records, last Sept. The album featured 13 brand-new songs, with a total playtime of 40 minutes.

The bands will depart for their tour, making their first stop on Mar. 26, in Los Angeles, CA, at The Palladium. They will also be playing at notable venues such as The House of Blues in Orlando, FL, and at Gas Monkey in Dallas, TX.

Tickets for the Spring 2020 co-headlining tour will be available for purchase at Bad Religion’s and Alkaline Trio’s website as of Friday, Dec. 13 at 12:00 p.m. CST. The prices of the tickets are unknown at the moment.

UPDATE: (1/14): Baltimore hardcore punk band War on Women have been added as the openers for Bad Religion and Alkaline Trio’s co-headlining tour dates this spring.  They released their awesome album Capture the Flag in 2018.
