King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Announces Spring 2020 Tour Dates Including Marathon Set Shows

Australian rock band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard has announced their Spring 2020 North American tour dates and locations, featuring special, 3 hour long marathon sets. The marathon sets feature songs spanning across the entire career of the band, and will take place in The Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California, as well as in Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. The tour will begin in late January of 2020 and run into May.

The band decided to add more 3 hour marathon sets partly due to popular demand; the final shows to be performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado were added due to outcries from fans for more shows. Check out more about the logistics behind the tour here.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have been around since 2010, and have released 15 albums in a 7 year span. The constant production of new music has allowed the band to showcase a variety of different musical styles and sub-genres, and have included elements of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, folk, jazz, soul, and even heavy metal in their music.
