The “Last Nite” band will be bringing their guitars, drums, and raw raspy voice to the New York City Area right before we ring in the new decade. They will be playing their amazing music on the Barclays Center stage on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Everyone will be able to enjoy their music and count down the new year with the Strokes since it is an all-age show. Doors will open at 7:30 PM, while the arena will get dark and the stage will light up at 8:30 PM. Tickets for this show are still available, they start at just the price of $79.50 and increase depending on how close you want to be to the stage.
Back in 2001, the world was introduced to the Strokes and their creative music. In that one year, they released their first EP titled The Modern Age EP and their debut album Is This It. Their album received critical acclaim by many organizations such as Rolling Stones and Pitchfork. Throughout their career, they have been able to release five studio albums. All of these albums landed on high positions on certain musical charts, earned the band much high praise, and won numerous awards. The Strokes are a rock band that has succeeded in their way while making timeless music.
If you can be apart of this show get ready to hear all of the Strokes classic songs. Get ready to rock your head back and forth ton songs like “Reptilia,” “Someday,” etc. A few months ago, it was announced that the Strokes will be working on their sixth studio album. This is something that so many fans are excited for. No matter what the band does, we can all agree that they can do no wrong.
