The electronic music festival Electric Forest has announced its 10th anniversary lineup, featuring the likes of Flume, Major Lazer and BASSNECTAR who are set to rave down in Rothbury, Michigan from June 25-28, 2020. Other prominent artists featured on this year’s lineup include Big Gigantic, Louis The Child, Diplo, Big Boi, The Black Madonna and Boys Noize.
In addition to BASSNECTAR, last year’s lineup featured appearances from Cut Copy, Griz, Zhu, Chromeo, Bonobo and The Glitch Mob. While electronic music is at the center of Electric Forest, the lineup includes a range of rappers and performers from other genres which have included the likes of Lil Dicky and Washed Out in the past.
Flume released the Quits EP earlier this year with the rapper/R&B performer Reo Cragun. Prior to this release, the Australian producer debuted “Let You Know” featuring London Grammar, which saw a similar blend of electronica and R&B.
“Reo’s got a great ability to adapt to whatever’s going on musically,” says Flume in a press release. “Whether it’s something on the slower side or something high energy he’s able to complement and engage with it in a way that’s quite unique. From the first session we were having fun and the music was good so we kept going. It’s a friendship as well. We’re friends outside of the studio so it’s just natural and fun to work together.”
Major Lazer are set to join Flume at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, which is also set to include a special set hosting Jauz DJing back to back with NGHTMRE.
