Just as of this past Thursday night November 28, Maryland-based grind core/sludge metal band Full of Hell, were left devastatingly victims of theft amidst the band’s current tour. As previously reported on The Prp, Full of Hell’s lead vocalist, Dylan Walker, took to social media to air out the specifics of the heinous crime “ …which saw their van, gear, merch and more stolen in the Atlanta, GA area.” To help aid in the efforts to remedy the situation, according to Walker, a friend of the band has started a GoFundMe page that seeks to raise funds to replace the valuable items that were stolen. These items have been collected in the duration of the band’s touring career which spans a little over ten years.
Full of Hell’s current touring roster includes Dylan Walker (lead vocalist), Dave Bland (drums), Spencer Hazard (guitar/noise) and Sam DiGristine (bass/backing vocals). The collective’s latest released studio album Weeping Choir, which dropped earlier this year in May, marked Full of Hell’s debut album on their current label Relapse Records and the band’s fourth studio album. The aforementioned article further’s Full of Hell’s distressed sentiments felt for whomever decided to steal the band’s livelihood. Walker furthered this when he released this statement:
“Last night our entire van was stolen with all of our gear, merch and even most of our clothing. We’ve been touring for 10 years and have been lucky enough to have never been robbed before. There have been close calls but never anything like this. I feel completely crushed to lose all of the gear we spent years building and tinkering with along with our trustworthy van. I also feel completely ashamed to ask for anything from you guys but a friend has made us a gofundme to possibly help us rebuild.
Anyone that knows us know that we’ve been gunning at 100% since we started but right now we are feeling very defeated. We are going to be dropping the rest of the dates with Cattle Decapitation, which might be the most crushing thing of all, because we never cancel tours. I’m just at a loss for words right now. We are feeling very low. Check this out if you want to. Thank you.”
Feeling incapacitated, the band implored their fans to reach out to them to recover said stolen items. The Prp article concludes with Full of Hell speaking collectively as to the specifics of the various crucial pieces of touring equipment, instruments and the vehicle stolen saying:
