Exmortus Sets Up GoFundMe Campaign After Crash Ruins Trailer and Van

Extreme metal band Exmortus have set up a GoFundMe Campaign after a crash ruined their trailer and van while on tour from Vancouver, BC to Edmonton, Alberta. The van crashed occurred after the band lost control of the vehicle on black ice, before hitting a shoulder rail next to a ditch. Luckily, none of the band’s members were seriously injured, and as of press time, the group has raised $16,275 raised of their $20,000 goal.

“While on tour on our way to Edmonton, Alberta from Vancouver, BC, Canada we lost control on black ice and crashed into and slid on the shoulder rail next to a ditch,” the band’s vocalist/guitarist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez stated according to The PRP. “Thankfully, no one is hurt but the van & trailer are ruined. The tour with Death Angel and Hellfire just started and we really don’t wanna miss the rest of the dates. So, we would like to raise money for a new ride and trailer ASAP so that we may finish the tour. Please donate what you can! Anything helps! Every dollar counts!”

The band released their album The Sound Of Steel last year, which was noted for its crisp production which expanded their sound. “Exmortus takes the ordinary and expands it into the extraordinary by only adding in a few more ingredients,” mxdwn reviewer Jon Weigell explained. “The cake is the same, Exmortus just made their own icing. Any usual thrash metal record is a good enough record, but Exmortus truly went the extra mile with this one and made it something special. The Sound of Steel is the beginning of a glorious new path for Exmortus, and one they are more than equipped to capitalize on.”
