Photos: Chelsea Wolfe Live at the Palace Theatre, Los Angeles

Chelsea Wolfe has returned to her indie roots with her latest album, “Birth of Violence,” and is currently finishing a headlining North American tour in support of the record. Despite playing a rather big venue, the Los Angeles show felt extremely intimate and vulnerable. During most of the show, Chelsea was playing from a specially built pedestal adorned with tree branches and decorated with electric candles, which often were the only light on stage only adding to the intimate vibe of the event. The audience was seated and could fully enjoy the slowly flowing music, filling the beautiful Palace Theater in Downtown LA. Chelsea also performed in a white dress, which is very symbolic of the stripped-down performance and the bare acoustic sound of her current era.
