Michael McDonald To Reunite with Doobie Brothers for 50th Anniversary Tour

Legendary American singer-songwriter, Michael McDonald, will be reuniting with The Doobie Brothers for the 2020 North American tour to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary.

“You might remember him,” said singer-keyboardist, Patrick Simmons. “He has his own band these days, but you might remember him from his band, The Doobie brothers.”

The band will be touring together almost after 25 years, and announced this reunification on Nov. 18 at their concert in Nashville, TN.

“We’re truly excited about our 50th Anniversary tour,” said singer-guitarist, Tom Johnston. “It’s a celebration of the band’s entire history. We’ll be performing songs from our full catalog, as well as new music.”

They will be kicking off their tour in West Palm Beach, Florida on June 9.
