Jaymes Young @ Bowery Ballroom 11/21 & Baby’s All Right 11/23

The amazingly talented singer-songwriter is in the middle of embarking a North American tour. During two of those days, he will be showcasing his wonderful lyrics and voice on two different New York stages. On Thursday, November 21, 2019, he will be on the Bowery stage, while on Saturday, November 23, 2019, he will be on the Baby’s All Right stage. These two nights will be all about you and your closest friends since the age restriction for both shows are 18+. Tickets for both shows are starting at just $20.00, if you decide to buy your tickets during the day of the show for the Baby’s All Right concert, expect to pay $25.00.

Back in 2013, Jaymes Young released his first body of work titled Dark Star EP. It was a five-track EP that had songs filled with honest and metaphorical lyrics, and wonderful melodies to each song that will not get out of your head. A year later, he released his second EP titled Habits of My Heart, fans were able to see a cohesive sound for Young that automatically made people admire him. During his second EP, Jaymes Young is able to go with haunting indie-pop songs like “Come Back for Me” to ballad-like songs such as “Moondust-Stripped” that showcases Young’s voice. It was not until 2017 when Jaymes Young released his debut album Feel Something, that made Young a force to be reckoned with in the alternative/indie world of music.

Earlier this year, Jaymes Young released two songs titled “Happiest Years,” and “Paradox.” These two songs show us that besides being a wonderful vocalist, Jaymes Young is a writer. He is confessing his thoughts when it comes to love, his past relationships, and himself. Jaymes Young is someone who is honest with his music. While listening to someone like him you can’t help but feel inspired to write about your own experience and make the trauma you have dealt with sound beautiful, like how he does.

This concert will have you singing along to haunting yet lovely lyrics while listening to an incredible voice. Get your tickets as soon as you can, you won’t regret it.

Johnny Quevedo: Ever since the beginning of my teenage years, writing and music have always been my passion. I am currently twenty years old, and I have realized that all I want to do in my life is to combine my love for music and writing together. I have always had a fascination of knowing the latest trends in music. I know a lot when it comes to certain artists and I constantly want to keep myself updated with the music industry as much as possible. There have been moments where I use words to pour out my heart and thoughts, and with all those little moments, it has helped me become the creative person I am today. My goal in life is to inspire others with my writing, it could either be with the articles that I am writing or even my poetry, I want others to be touched just like how my musical inspirations have touched me. I have always said that my version of success will be when I am pleased with the work environment I am apart of. I already know that being apart of mxdwn Music will be the start of that.
