Grimes is back at it again with another banger titled, “So Heavy I Fell Through the Earth,” the second song released from album Miss Anthropocene; which is set to release 21 February 2020. She has shared two variances of the song on Youtube — the six and a half minute “Art Mix” version and the shorter “Algorithm Mix.” Grimes’ electromagnetic sound lifts the listener to a state of heavenly bliss. Her angelic vocals, blended with appeasing mixes of sounds, have been her go-to for quite some time. The difference between this next album and her last is that she has changed as an artist. She shared on her Instagram page earlier this week that she will also be releasing two more songs by the end of the year.

Grimes said to Crack Magazine that her character, “Dark,” is her “alter ego.” The very nature of Grimes’ first album was based on focusing on the painful human experience. Whereas this she said to Crack Magazine that this next album is, “It’s visually the best thing I’ve ever come up with. Everyone is very tired of me making metal and screamo and stuff, so that can just be Dark.”

Amber Flynn: Nothing beats writing. I'm from the town of Thousand Oaks, fighting for my dream. Traveling the world, and living in tough situations broadened the horizon for my thinking. I started my education after public high school at an Adult School. I wanted to receive my certificate in Physical Therapy. Eventually, I received my certificate and it motivated me to want to help more that just an individual. Continuing my education at Moorpark College, opened my eyes to the possibility of a career in Literary Arts. After receiving my Associates Degree in English, I sent out applications to many colleges. After being accepted to ALL of the colleges I applied to, I had to make a decision. I am now a student at Loyola Marymount University, and I also work part time at a Law Firm editing legal documents.
