Deadmau5 Debut Cubev3 Tour Track “Satrn” on mau5strap

Today Deadmau5 released a familiarly sounding track, “Satrn.” The track comes from his mau5strap imprint music label and was heavily inspired by his Cubev3 show which complimented his most complex production to date. If fans think the song sounds familiar, then they probably heard it during his Cubev3 event. The song sat with a unique track list that showed off Deadmou5′ extensive catalog and featured some of his biggest hits such as: “Aravitia,” “Ghosts n Stuff” and “Strobe” to “Raise Your Weapon” and “Drama Free” with vocals by Lights.

The track starts out with a soft sounding synthesizer before an array of sounds gets introduced that bursts the audible spectrum wide open. The smooth sounding song slowly builds in dynamics before that classic electric Deadmau5 sound comes blaring through. Then suddenly theres a break in the song which transitions into a faster moving rhythm that makes one want to bop their head along. Finally after a two minute build up the kick is introduced and combined with the synths in the back gives off a laid back, fist-bumping vibe. Then at about four minutes all the sounds come together to build on one another and enhance the already wide spread spectrum of listening.

The original Cube debuted at Coachella April 2010, catapulting Deadmau5 to become one of the most in-demand live acts in the world. With its follow-up Cube 2.1 arriving in 2017 at the launch of his “lots of shows in a row tour.” But Cubev3 is a 180 degree from what it was and comes to life with mind bending content accompanied by a custom selection of music performed live by deadmau5. If he keeps expanding his already extensive catalog, then fans can expect him to be one of the top EDM DJ’s for a long time.
