Ms. Lauryn Hill is a living legend who has broken many records and open many doors for so many singers. In some way, we have all admired Lauryn Hill. If it isn’t because of her sense of style, it is her vocals. If it isn’t for her attitude and persona, it is her emotional and unapologetic music. Whatever the case may be, we can all agree Ms. Lauryn Hill is an icon that will forever be talked about. She will bring her legendary status on the United Palace stage on Saturday, February 22, 2020. This all-age show will open the doors at 7:00 PM, while Hill will take the stage at 8:00 PM. At the moment, ticket prices are incredibly cheap with starting just at the price of $66.00.
Hill has had a career like no other. We all know her works as a member of the Fugees, but as a soloist, she has achieved more than anyone can possibly think of. In just one night, she took home five Grammy wins, including Album of the Year, and Best New Artist. Her debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill topped the Billboard 200 charts, this album broke records by selling around 400,000 copies in its first week. All of this occurred during the late 90s, but nearly twenty years later Lauryn Hill is still a name that is talked about in high praise.
The United Palace is celebrating its 90th Anniversary, and who better else to call for this event but the goddess herself. It’s been a while since Lauryn Hill has been on stage, last year she decided to promote her album again for its 20th Anniversary. Ever since then she has not been on the road as much. The next show that is scheduled for her would be this one, so the audience can already expect an iconic show.
