Holy Wars Utilizes Dark Imagery in Video for Bluesy New Song “Welcome To My Hell”

Electronic rock band Holy Wars have debuted a new single entitled “Welcome To My Hell,” which is accompanied by a new music video created in collaboration with cinematographer Kevin Schlanser, lighting designer Erin Naifeh and editor Fre Angel.

This new track is a hard hitting rock anthem, with heavy guitars and drums, complimented by the lead singer Kat Leon’s howling vocal performance, which boost the track’s energy. The video shows Leon performing the song in a room with multiple ballerina dancers covered with masks and chained together, with lights shown as the backdrop for the visual.

“I enjoyed writing and performing this song so much and really wanted to convey all images the concept of hell would inspire — snakes, daemonic ballerinas, fire and cultish cloaked creatures,” Leon told Billboard. She later continued with : “The hell in this song and video is less about the hell we have been told about, but more about the hell that exists in one’s mind,.I believe hell is what we create and we all live in our own personal hell at different times.”

This latest track follows the band’s previously released single “Legend,” which is part of the band’s EP Unholy, which was announced earlier this year. This also follows Leon’s debut solo EP This Is How The World Endsreleased back in September via Position Music. This six-track EP will be followed by Leon’s debut solo performance at the Hi Hat in Los Angeles, California on November 6th, where she will be joined by special guests Naika, Badtooth and Roman The Cartoon.
