Charli XCX has released a a trailer for the upcoming Netflix series, I’m With the Band: Nasty Cherry, which is set to launch on the platform on November 15th. The series focuses on the alternative pop band Nasty Cherry, which Charli XCX formed earlier this year, who are signed to her label Vroom Vroom records. This series is set to detail their year long adventure with the group, as they navigate throughout the music industry and social media feeds.

This group was formed by guitarist and frontwoman of Kitten Chloe Chaidez, Charli XCX’s drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson, bassist and former set director of Star Wars Georgia Somary and singer Gabbriette Bechtel, who was featured as a model in Galore magazine. The group debuted their first track “Win,” in March.

Their most recent single “Music With Your Dad,” premiered last Friday, and showed the four-piece detailing their love affair with an older man, drinking whisky and being gifted Cadillac’s. The group have also announced a new EP although it is unknown when it will debut.

Chaidez debuted a new single entitled “Goodbye Honeymoon Phase,” back in September as Kitten, which saw the band take on synth-pop laden sound. Prior to this the band released a new song entitled “Memphis.” which saw the performer display her interpersonal songwriting style.

Charli XCX released her most recent album Charli, earlier this year. “This album filled with infectious beats, typical tongue-in-cheek pop lyrics and musical diversity that not many can accomplish, showcases exactly how Charli XCX has managed to make waves in the industry over the past decade,” mxdwn reviewer Marianna Salcedo wrote regarding the project.
