Caroline Polachek is in a league of her own. Straying from the typical love song, she dives into the present moment and focuses on personal strength. Her newest song “Look At Me Now,” is an ode to a dream that seems to shake her to her core. Polachek seems to be finding her truest self in this track. Polachek branched out on her own after being in the former band Chairlift.

On 10/18/2019, her newest album Pang will be released! Containing the previously released songs “Look At Me Now,” “So Hot You’re  Hurting My Feelings,” “Ocean of Tears,” “Parachute,” and “Door.” Her sense of self and beautiful range of vocals sets her apart from the rest. Pang is Polachek’s debut album, which she is releasing under her label, although she did release, Arcadia, back in 2014 also. Her previous band Chairlift announced in 2016 that they were breaking up. After playing a few shows in 2017 they called it quits. But Polachek didn’t quit, she still is continuing to strive to be a part of the music world. She has been working on this album for some time and is very excited to release the full album on Friday! Polachek will be taking her new album on tour. Tour dates can be seen below.

Amber Flynn: Nothing beats writing. I'm from the town of Thousand Oaks, fighting for my dream. Traveling the world, and living in tough situations broadened the horizon for my thinking. I started my education after public high school at an Adult School. I wanted to receive my certificate in Physical Therapy. Eventually, I received my certificate and it motivated me to want to help more that just an individual. Continuing my education at Moorpark College, opened my eyes to the possibility of a career in Literary Arts. After receiving my Associates Degree in English, I sent out applications to many colleges. After being accepted to ALL of the colleges I applied to, I had to make a decision. I am now a student at Loyola Marymount University, and I also work part time at a Law Firm editing legal documents.
