The Locust just added more shows for their fall tour, including Desert Daze festival on Monday, October 14 in Lake Perris, California. This is their first performance in over four years and Desert Daze festival lineup includes Wu-Tang Clan, Ween, Flaming Lips, Devo and Stereolab as well as DIIV, Flying Lotus, Animal Collective, The Black Angels, Crumb, and Parquet Courts.
Justin Pearson from The Locust recently revealed to Brooklyn Vegan, “We do plan to play more, and function as a normal band again, with new material, and new uniforms as well. I guess the world is getting more and more fucked up, so we need to do our part to set things straight.”
Justin Pearson of The Locust is also in Dead Cross with Mike Patton and Dave Lombardo. The Locust are described as a band that “constantly cross and f%$@ the line between total chaos and perfect order. Genre-defying and boundary-blurring/destroyers, The Locust are proven to be masters at their craft. What that craft is still proves to be difficult to define.”
