Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has announced a new set of fall 2019 solo tour dates, which will begin in Los Angeles, California, at the Lodge Room and finish up in New York City, New York at the Gramercy Theatre. Corgan will be performing many hits from his extensive catalog, from his work with the Smashing Pumpkins ,Zwan and WPC, with tickets set to go on sale this Friday, October 4th.
Earlier this year Corgan collaborated with Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, for the single “You’ll Never Find Me,” which was featured on Korn’s latest studio album. “We sat in two chairs like this and he picked up an acoustic guitar and he started playing the chord progressions while I was singing the melodies. I’ve never done anything like that before, and it was a really cool experience,” Davis explained.
Last year the Smashing Pumpkins embarked on a brief 30th anniversary tour across the United States. During one of these performances, the band along with Myrkur, performed cover of the classic Black Sabbath track “Snowblind.”
