mxdwn PREMIERE: Space Tyger Ruminates on Love and Loss with New Single “Bittersweet”

Today indie-pop act Space Tyger releases a video for their new single “Bittersweet,” a cinematic lyric video that’s the perfect lead-in for the announcement of their new album of the same name, Bittersweet. Space Tyger is the moniker of Alabama-based musician Kyle Bragwell and on “Bittersweet” he combines several styles, from electronic to R&B and pop for a sound that can be described as “post-genre.”

“This song sort of sums up a lot of my life in recent years,” said Bragwell. “It’s about love, and loss in different forms. Going from a horrible state to a good one mentally. Life can be bittersweet.”

“Bittersweet” is the second single to be released from the upcoming album. In 2018, Space Tyger released the first single from the upcoming LP,  a track called “Shake.” Bittersweet will be released on former The Civil Wars member John Paul White’s label Single Lock Records on November 8, 2019.
