Legendary rock artist and filmmaker Rob Zombie recently had an interview with British music publication NME where he discussed his future in music and where he wants to go next creatively. According to PRP, he mentioned that his seventh studio album is complete, and he is hoping for a February 2020 release. Also, Zombie seems to think it’s the best record he has made yet, and his guitarist John 5 made a comparison to The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Here’s the direct quote:
“The record’s definitely finished and, like John says, I think it’s the best record we’ve ever made. It’s a very big, crazy and complex record that I’m really excited to finally be able to release. I just had to get everything with 3 From Hell completely finished before we got into that, but my plan now is to start shooting some big videos for the album around January so that we can release it early next year. I’m hoping for a February 2020 release…”
Rob Zombie has recently been on a tear through the festival scene, earning high billing on the lineups of festivals like Knotfest, Las Rageous, Rockfest, Aftershock, Louder Than Life, and many more. He also performed few co-headlining dates this past summer with Marilyn Manson. Zombie signed with Nuclear Blast Records in July 2018, and the release of this seventh studio album in the coming months will mark his first project with Nuclear Blast.
