This alternative based band includes lead singer and guitarist Gaz Coombes, drummer Danny Goffey, talented bassist Mick Quinn and none other than Rob Coombes on keyboards. They were originally a 3-piece band. In 2002, Gaz’s brother, Rob Coombes hopped into the band as well.
After the breakup of the band in 2010, audiences were devastated. The definite joy is found in the fans for Supergrass to once again indulge in their music live once more. In a press release for the band’s reunion tour shared by Pitchfork, Danny Goffey said, “Everything aligned for us to make this happen for 2020. It was the first time that we collectively felt the buzz to get back in a room together and play the songs. We’re extremely excited to get out there and bring a bit of Supergrass joy to all our fans… and their extended families.”
The cherry on top of this happy announcement is the bands notification of the release of the release of a Box Set including all of Supergrass’ music called The Strange Ones 1994-2008, which can be purchased on the bands website here. Pre-orders are available for purchase now! The price on the Box Set is $202.95.
