Devin Townsend has been one of the most prolific artist’s in heavy metal, releasing a variety of solo projects,along with his work with Strapping Young Lad. While his latest studio album Empath was released earlier this year, the artist has big plans ahead in the future; including a tour where the performer is set to play in different styles, which the performer will undergo before completing his next project The Moth.
Whole Townsend announce his planned tour earlier this year, the artist gave a few updates regarding these plans, which will also culminate in a performance of Empath in full by 2021. The artist also expalined that he will be releasing “an official press release in the next week or so” further solidifying these plans for a tour.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Townsend has played a variety of genres, from experimental metal, and progressive rock and the way to sludge metal and electronic music. These upcoming tours will be sure to create a unique experience for Townsend’s fans during each concert performance.
