Experimental R&B artist FKA Twigs will be embarking on a new 10 date North American tour this fall in support of her upcoming studio album release Magdalene. This upcoming album will be her first studio album release in five years, since the release of LP1 in 2014, and is set to be co-produced by Nicolas Jaar and hold features from artists such as Future.
The singer announced the new tour in a series of social media posts. The upcoming stage shows are being worked on by the artist herself and Theo Adams. This tour will begin in Vancouver, British Columbia at the Vogue theater and will end in Brooklyn, New York City and finish at the King’s Theater.

Earlier this year the performer made a comeback with the song “Cellophane,” her first piece of new music in over three years. It was revealed prior to this release that the artist was undergoing treatment for severe tumors, which halted her musical projects.
Earlier this week the artist spoke at length regarding Future’s upcoming feature:
“He texted back right away and I was like , ‘Oh my god, he’s just messaged me back!’ He’s such a sweetheart. I sent him the album and I called him up and was like, ‘Listen, Future… this is what my album’s about. It’s a really empowering, sensitive record, with a lot of feminine energy, and this song is probably the most fun track on it, but I still need lyrical content.’ And he said, ‘Okay, I’ve got it’. And his verse is beautiful. He’s just talking about his downfalls as a man; how he’s sorry and asking for healing. I love sad Future. I love when he gets emo, when he expresses himself.”
