DragonForce has released a music video for their track “Heart Demolition.” The video serves as the second visual and single released from their newly announced album Extreme Power Metal, following “Highway to Oblivion.” The album is set for a Sept. 27 release and will include eight additional tracks. Fans can preorder the new album here and check out the new video below.
After the album’s release, the London-based band will be hitting the road in support of the LP. The tour will commence Oct. 1 in Tucson, AZ and will continue its trek in Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Ventura, CA, before wrapping up Oct. 13 with set at the Megadeth curated Megacruise in Los Angeles, CA. Fellow bands Dance with The Dead and Starkill will join them on select dates. Tickets can be purchased here.
Extreme Power Metal will be the band’s eighth studio album, following 2017’s Reaching into Infinity. Between albums, band members have departed and been replaced. Recently, bassist Frédéric Leclercq announced that he would be leaving the band to pursue other solo projects, with YouTube personality and musician Steve Terreberry to replace him for the tour. The new album will also serve as the first one without keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov. He left the group last year, letting fans know via Facebook. The band still could not be more excited for the album, with guitarist Li saying “This album again combines the best of DragonForce in an even bigger, more epic way than we have ever done before. We are so excited for fans to hear it!”
