Tool Finally Releases Its Music Video Collection Online

There are fans, and then there are fans of Tool. The band just released their new album, Fear Inoculum described as transcendent return for their undying fan-base worldwide. This is Tool’s first album in 13 years and they have definitely drummed up the excitement for a while now. Fear Inoculum can be streamed or downloaded through all major digital platforms. Tool has become the first group to ever hold all of the top 10 spots on Billboard’s Rock Digital Songs Sales chart. They also uploaded seven previously unavailable hi-def clips to their official YouTube channel: the visual treatments for “Vicarious,” “Stinkfist,” “Prison Sex,” “Parabola,” “Ænema,” “Schism” and “Sober.”

“Fear Inoculum” is a track that starts off with strong instrumentals and a build that crescendos into Keenan’s vocals. The song is 10-minutes and 22-seconds and the album is set to be 85-minutes long and will have a special deluxe physical edition. The collectible edition features a 4” HD rechargeable screen with exclusive video footage, charging cable, 2-watt speaker, a 36-page booklet and a digital download card.

For quite some time, fans were only able to listen to Tool’s music by CD but now the entire back catalog is available on streaming services. In recent press release, Keenan said, “Our obsession with, and dream of, a world where BetaMax and Laser Disc rule has ended. Time for us to move on. But never fear. There’s a brand new thing we think you’re really gonna dig. It’s called Digital Downloads and Streaming. Get ready for the future, folks!”

Tool has put out teasers through their social media accounts, getting fans rattled and hopeful to hear new music after so many years. They debuted two new songs, “Invincible” and “Descending,” from the Fear Inoculum album. Although the wait for this band’s album has been long, the day has arrived and fans can partake in new music and the collection of Tool’s discography on their favorite music streaming services.

Fans of Tool were getting so upset about not getting any new music that Keenan received death threats. Drummer Dany Carrey said in a MetalHammer article, “I felt bad for him [Keenan], and he even told me he was getting death threats from these idiots out there. They just have no idea what our work ethic is. These things don’t happen, man. There’s no other record that’s going to sound like this Tool record.” Tour dates for Tool’s upcoming tour are listed below.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
