Hip hop artist JPEGMAFIA will be releasing a new album titled All My Heroes Are Cornballs, which will be available for a September 13th release via EQT Recordings. The artist released a trailer to accompany this announcement, which featured many of his close friends who comedically share their negative thoughts on the album.
The artists featured in the trailer include James Blake, DJ Dahi, Flume, Channel Tres, Buzzy Lee, Jeff Tweedy, Injury Reserve, Jeff Ellis and Kenny Beats, each who question the direction of the album. Some of the quotes include R&B and electronica artist James Blake who stated: “it’s left me feeling unsettled … after hearing that I just think I don’t want to see him again,” Wilco’s frontman Jeff Tweedy who stated: “I’m really sad that I had to endure that. … shallow attempt to draw attention away from his hairline,” and Australian producer Flume who stated: “I wouldn’t listen to it outside of this room.”
