Nine Inch Nails keyboardist and electronic musician Alessandro Cortini has just unveiled his latest music video for the track “BATTICUORE” which is set to be released off of his forthcoming album, VOLUME MASSIMO, later this year. This new project is set to be released on September 27 on Mute Records, and will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
The music video for “BATTICUORE,” uses the same two models, with their faces covered with cones, that are depicted in the cover art for VOLUME MASSIMO and the visual for “AMORE AMARO,” released earlier this year. This latest track blends various progressive synth build ups to create an engaging, cinema-like experience.
In a recent interview, Cortini discussed the role his work with Nine Inch Nails had on his future music endeavors:
“There, I really emphasised learning about synthesis and sound, rather than just becoming a better keyboard player. And I learnt so much from him too. Trent is very good at what he does, because he’s being himself. He’s fulfilling the role of Trent Reznor, so of course he’s fucking great at it! We’re actually going to back back together for a tour at the end of this month, so I’m ecstatic to be back with them, and hang out and joke and fart. Just to put something not too important in the interview, there will be a little bit of farting [laughs].”
In addition, the artist has unveiled a series of fall 2019 tour dates to look forward to.
