The American Rock band, Toadies, formed in Fort Worth, Texas has just announced their eight-studio album, and they are recruiting the help of legendary producer Steve Albini to assist them during production. No official name has been set for the upcoming album, but the band has scheduled to start recording their new project in early 2020. Albini is the founder, owner, and principal engineer of Electrical Audio, a complex studio based in Chicago, IL. Steve Albini has become a legend in the world of grungy punk rock, coining the nickname, ‘The Godfather of Grunge’, for his signature style of loud, distorted, and in-your-face kind of music. So, it only fits right that the band most well known for their song, “Possum Kingdom”, will recruit the help of iconic producer Steve Albini to ensure their new album is top of the line.

In celebration of the 25-year anniversary of Rubberneck the band has announced they will go on a small five show tour with four of the shows being solely dedicated to Rubberneck.
