Today the music festival Desert Daze announced its complete 2019 lineup with several standout musicians. One of the most noteworthy additions to the festival is DEVO, the new-wave pioneers. Even more notable is that the band has announced some major news with their addition at the festival – the performance in Perris, CA will kick off the band’s Farewell Tour.
According to a more recent post from the band, the Desert Daze set will be the only show for the band in October 2019. Not much is known at this time about when and where and for how long the rest of the tour will be. Stay tuned here for more updates.

Earlier today the band posted a message on their Facebook encouraging fans to sign up for the band’s official mailing list. They hinted that “We’re going to have news you’ll want to be the first to know about VERY SOON.”
UPDATE (8/8): According to Rolling Stone, DEVO bassist Jerry Casal has denied that the band is going on a farewell tour, particularly dismissing the notion that the band would call it the “Farewell Tour.”
