Slipknot Share Brooding New Track “Birth Of The Cruel”

Another album teaser arrives! Slipknot shared new song “Birth Of The Cruel,” following two previous tracks “Solway Firth” and “Unstained” in their upcoming sixth LP WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND. With the accompanying music video, “Birth Of The Cruel” unveils a casual charisma of WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND, which drives listeners’ curiosity. The music video posted on YouTube is vertical footage video featuring masked metalheads Slipknot members. Of the video, the flicker of the metal band’s purgatory masks appears in a flash. It agitates the tension and noise for the whole song. Video viewers comment the crudely made YouTube video as “challenge accepted,” “different” and “eerie.” While the video diverts some attention, the song “Birth Of The Cruel” does not lose its attraction. Its gripping beats and blistering attacks stand out in spooky ritual. The brooding new share definitely gives a taste for the full album. Check out the video below.

In support of the highly anticipated album, Slipknot is hitting the road for the rest of 2019. Slipknot’s massive Knotfest Roadshow continues on August 6 until September 8, featuring special guests Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth. Their Australian Tour with Metallica group will embark on October 17 at Perth’s Optus Stadium, before wrapping up at Auckland’s Mt. Smart Stadium on November 2.

Slipknot’s recent tour starts as from tomorrow at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. The band will also perform in the World’s Largest Rock ‘N’ Roll music festival Louder Than Life featuring Guns N’ Roses, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Ice Cube and Marilyn Manson. After that, they will join Evanescence, Rob Zombie to the inaugural 2019 Knotsfest Meets Forcefest Music Festival in Mexico City from November 30 to December 1.
