Since-Deleted Retail Listing Suggests Ghost Will Release New 7″ in September 2019

American entertainment retail chain FYE seems to have leaked an upcoming release by Swedish rock band Ghost. According to Metal Injection, The now deleted listing included details of 7″ vinyl single scheduled to be released on Friday, September 13 (AKA Friday the 13th). This is the same day that the band will be starting their Ultimate Tour Named Death.

On one side of the single is “Kiss The Go-Goat” and on the other is “Mary On A Cross”. The two songs will be released by Loma Vista Recordings, the same label that has been responsible for the release of the group’s last three full-length projects. According to the original post on FYE, Ghost is also supposed to be releasing a deluxe edition of Prequelle, their fourth studio album, on the same day.

Ghost recently delayed their next album release to 2021 to avoid there release of any new Ghost material coinciding with the 2020 Presidential election.

Matthew Jordan: I grew up in Massachusetts, but I am currently a student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. I picked up my first musical instrument (viola) in the 3rd grade, and have been a fan of everything the medium has to offer ever since. Some of my favorite artists right now include Matt Maltese, Idles, MIKE, Benny the Butcher, Standing on the Corner, Built to Spill, and Frank Ocean. I also love following the charts and the music business to see what is connecting with listeners and why.
