Lana Del Rey Shares Album Artwork for Norman Fucking Rockwell and Announces August 2019 Release Date

Lana Del Rey has officially announced the release date of her next full length album. The album is titled Norman Fucking Rockwell, and will be out in its entirety on August 30th. Lana shared the news to fans via a post on Instagram Wednesday morning. The project, which was first teased late last year, will include the singer’s singles that have been released so far this year. Norman Fucking Rockwell is Lana’s follow-up to her 2017 album, Lust For Life, and will be her sixth studio album.

Lana Del Rey is a performer from New York City who has taken the music industry by storm over the past decade. First gaining online fame for her track “Video Games,” the singer soon found herself with a huge audience and growing fan base. Over the past few years, Lana has maintained her mainstream fame with huge hits like “Summertime Sadness” and “Young and Beautiful,” establishing herself as one of the most creative and powerful songwriters of her generation.

The American singer-songwriter has been hyping up fans for this new album since last year when she released the single “Mariners Apartment Complex” in the fall. She quickly followed this with the song “Venice Bitch” a few weeks later, along with the announcement of the title of Norman Fucking Rockwell. Both of these tracks are listed on the tracklist that Lana Del Rey shared on Instagram. In 2019 so far, Lana has released two more singles that are going to be present on the new project. Most recently, the “Summertime Sadness” singer released a cover of the track “Doin’ Time” by Sublime. On her version of the track, Lana uses her signature smooth vocals to add a whole new layer to the song.

The singer has also teased various unreleased songs for the album, including the project’s title track. Last month, the Lana posted short video of her singing the title track to social media. She also told fans at a concert back in June that Norman Fucking Rockwell would be released in two months, making fans even more anxious for the project’s release. Now it’s come time for the full details of the album to be announced, with only four weeks remaining until its release. In her social media posts, Lana revealed the full album tracklist, showing that the project will be 14 songs long.
