DragonForce originally formed in London, England and began playing music in 1999. After twenty years as a group, the band has put out seven studio albums, two live albums, and a countless number of singles. DragonForce reached international acclaim upon releasing their hit “Through the Fire and Flames” which appears on their third studio album titled Inhuman Rampage. The group is known for their fast paced music, intricate guitar solos, video game influenced sound, and 80s beats all packed into each of their works.
While expressing his excitement for Extreme Power Metal guitarist Li explained, “This album again combines the best of DragonForce in an even bigger, more epic way than we have ever done before. We are so excited for fans to hear it!” Having been around since nearly the beginning, this will be the first album DragonForce has worked on without keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov who is replaced by Coen Janssen on Extreme Power Metal.
