The album has a positive feel with a smooth, uplifting beat on each track.

The first song, “All Day Long” features Chance rapping with lyrics, “We can’t be out here pleasing everybody. We know who we are.” The second song, “Do You Remember” features frontman Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie vocalizing beautiful lyrics like, “Do you remember how when you were younger. The summers all lasted forever?” The third song, “Eternal” features Smino who raps with Chance while comparing side chicks to real women with lyrics like, “I got a Jada Pinkett keeping sure my shame is in check. Cross-legged in the dojo, my master, mentor. Side chicks can’t take out splinters. Side chicks make they Kool-Aid with Splenda. Side chicks can’t come to Auntie Linda’s house.”

The next track, “Hot Shower” boasts an ever confident lyrical track featuring DaBaby and MadeinTYO. In the song “We Go High,” lyrics include “And we go high. They go low and we go higher, higher.” The words “When they go low, we go high,“ were spoken by the former First Lady, Michelle Obama at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. The remaining tracks on The Big Day are each and every bit lyrically stylistic, including “I Got You” and “Ballin Flossin” which features Shawn Mendes that is a fast track and harmonizing beat. Chance comes in on to rap after Mendes introduces the first verse.

Kelly Tucker: Originally from Los Angeles, I grew up listening to all types of music. My first concert was Aerosmith with Skid Row, then moved on to concerts with Metallica, Lollapalooza, Guns N’ Roses, Soundgarden and more. One of my favorite shows of all time was when I was in college and someone took me to see the Allman Brothers play. I also scalped a ticket to see Pearl Jam and the amazing Eddie Vedder sing his heart out. My professional career started in 2000 at Nielsen Business Media where I was an assistant in a sales department and later got promoted to advertising account executive. When the recession hit in 2008 and the magazine was sold, I took a job at a call center and later got promoted to assistant to the CEO and COO of a global company. In 2017, I took a position at a pharmaceutical agency, and now currently responsible for coordinating meeting logistics for physicians and pharma reps throughout the United States. In my spare time, I work at Peace4Kids a non-profit in South Los Angeles and write screenplays in hopes to make a breakthrough.
