Gorgon City Delves into Progressive House for New Single “Elizabeth Street”

UK electronic duo Gorgon City have returned with a new single entitled “Elizabeth Street,” the latest single off of their REALM Imprint, which has teamed up with electronic based record label Astralwerks. This progressive house track, glides smoothly into its bass drops, which allows it to be played either in a club or as its own standalone track.

Accompanying this latest single is a music video that serves as a sonic visualizer, which shows various buildings that are a part of the New York City Skyline being visually distorted to match the music. This setting is likely an ode to the song’s title, which takes its name from the glitzy Manhattan neighborhood of the same name.

This is the second outing that the duo have done as a part of their REAL and Astralwerk collaboration, which follows their single released earlier this year, “Delicious.” Both tracks vary in style, with “Delicious” serving as a down and dirty club banger, as opposed to “Elizabeth Streets,” mellowed out tone.

Both of the artists wrapped up a tour last year, and also made a noteworthy appearance at this year’s Coachella, performing at a desired set time alongside Kacey Musgraves and Jaden Smith. In addition, the duo are currently scheduled to undergo a North American and  European tour, which begins tomorrow in Mallorca, Spain, and will see the two venture across nearly 30 stops worldwide before reaching its end in London.
