Electronic music band Fitz and the Tantrums have officially announced the details of their upcoming new album. The project is going to be titled ALL THE FEELS and will be the group’s fourth full length album. The project will be released later this fall on September 20th. Alongside the album announcement, the group released the title track from the project. The single “All The Feels” was released on Friday with a music video on Youtube. This is not the first single from the album to be released so far, with Fitz and the Tantrums putting out a trio of tracks earlier this year that will also be featured on ALL THE FEELS.
Fitz and the Tantrums are an electronic pop band that got their start around a decade ago, first releasing their debut project Pickin’ up the Pieces in 2010. From there the band continued to develop their sound and put out two more albums. The first of these was 2013’s More Than Just A Dream, which was the group’s first studio-made album. The project was fueled by the songs “The Walker” and “Out Of My League,” both of which went on to become extremely popular. The most recent project from Fitz and the Tantrums was their 2016 self titled album, Fitz and the Tantrums. The album was the group’s biggest commercial success so far and contained the hit single “HandClap,” which became Fitz and the Tantrums’ highest charting song so far. As of late, the band has been hard at work making the ALL THE FEELS album and planning for their summer tour with Young the Giant.
The new album was first teased with the lead single “123456,” which was released earlier this year. This was followed by the “Don’t Ever Let Em” and “I Need Help” singles, the most recent of which was put out just last month. With this new single, “All The Feels,” the band is once again showing off the stunning instrumentation that has powered their success so far. The new track is incredibly infectious and the music video is a fun watch. The song itself is about wanting more out of a relationship, really trying to feel a connection with somebody. The music video plays on this by having lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick coming into a hospital with a heart problem that needs to be fixed. Overall the track is great summer song, and hopefully the band will have more from the new album out soon.
