Previously, Lana Del Rey teased a bunch of snippets for the upcoming album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, without telling a timeline of the release. But now, fans rejoice over her presumable date.
Announced by the Born to Die singer, the much-anticipated album will come out on August, The Fader reports. During Lana’s music gig last Saturday at Malahide Castle in Dublin, Ireland, she leaked the news saying, “I hope you like the new record, it’s coming out in two months.”
The new album was already completed long since this January, Lana then soon dropped a new single, titled “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have—but i have it,” and shared one of the tracks “Happiness is a Butterfly,” which will also be included on Norman Fucking Rockwell. Known for embellishing her music with eerily nostalgic video, the stylized cinematic diva gained big success and public adore from last year’s psychedelic song “Mariners Apartment Complex” and the ten-minute-long “Venice Bitch.” Lana also recently released a cover of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time.”
