The inaugural Miami Beach Pop Festival looks very promising and has managed to draw in some seriously impressive names for its first year. The headliners are some pretty big names including Jack Johnson, who closed out day two of the Sea.Hear.Now festival late last year as reported by mxdwn.com, Chance the Rapper, who’s current hit “GRoCERIES” is blowing up radio stations and clubs everywhere, Daddy Yankee and Kygo. The festival is scheduled to take place November 8th through the 10th.
Per to the press sent to mxdwn, the other notable acts set to play at the festival are The Roots, Nile Rodgers, Sean Paul, T-Pain, Kim Petras, Cimafunk and there will be even more acts in attendance that are yet to be announced. In addition to the killer lineup, there will also be plenty of activities including a “Sol Jam” featuring Nile Rogers and unnamed special guests, an “All-Star Celebration of Bob Marley” featuring Stephan Marley and other special guests who are yet to be known as well as the “Frost School of Music Ames” with Ben Folds.
The Miami Beach Pop Festival aims to be much more than the typical three-day music festival, and per the press release sent to email, the festival’s co-founder Paul Peck said “Miami Beach Pop is a celebration of one of the most extraordinary cities in the world. This unmatched, vibrant culture and iconic beach provide a rare combination of natural beauty and city excitement. The core purpose that drives the vision for this festival has been to celebrate the unity of human connection. We are honored to include artists such as Chance the Rapper and Jack Johnson, who are two of the most socially-conscious and inspiring figures in the contemporary cultural landscape.”
Tickets are able to be purchased from the official Miami Beach Pop Festival website here and can be purchased with a payment plan if you do not want to pay for the tickets up front. There are three different tiers, as well as separate tickets for Miami residents, ranging from general admission, to a VIP package experience that is going for over $1,000.
