Cold War Kids have released two new songs in time for summer. “Complainer” and “4th of July” were both produced by Lars Stalfors, who has worked with St.Vincent and Foster the People. Both songs will be featured on their upcoming album, NEW AGE NORMS, due in the fall.”Complainer” is Cold War Kids’s first co-write with  Bonnie McKee, who has notably worked with Katy Perry, and Rita Ora and Electric Guest’s Asa Taccone. Listen to the new singles below. A release date for the album has yet to be announced.

This marks the band’s first release of new music in two years, with their last studio effort being 2017’s LA Divine, an album that contained soulful feel-good vibe.
