Kevin Shields Of My Bloody Valentine and J Mascis To Host Guitar Q&A at Dinosaur Jr.’s Rock Camp

Dinosaur Jr.’s upcoming summer rock camp is going to feature a Q&A session from legendary guitarists Kevin Shields and J Mascis. The camp is called Camp Fuzz and is an annual production put on by the Dinosaur Jr. rock band. One of the more unique events on the schedule is the Q&A session, which will be held on the second day of the camp. Camp Fuzz is a music event that departs from what many people expect from a multi-day festival, focusing more on the experience of the guests rather than simply a series of shows. Some of the major events of the festival include things such as interviews with musicians and workshops where fans can learn more about their musical interests.

The Shields and Mascis Q&A is going to be one of the highlights of the camp, with both of these incredibly talented guitarists setting aside over an hour to talk with fans and answer any burning questions they might have. Mascis is one of the members of Dinosaur Jr. and helps run the event each year. He has been with the group for decades and is known as one of the main contributors for the band. Shields is also well known in the rock music community, having been the vocalist and guitarist for the world famous band My Bloody Valentine. The Irish rock band is one of the more influential bands of the 1990s, with their album Loveless gaining them fame both in the greater UK and abroad. The track “Only Shallow” went on to become incredibly popular and fueled the group’s prestige. With both of these artists together giving their experiences from over the years to fans, their Q&A will be an event all those at Camp Fuzz make it a point to see.
