The Melvins had to be the bearer of bad news unfortunately as they announced that have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour that was set to begin this month. The rock band told their fans just days before they were going to begin the tour and noted that the unexpected cancellation was due to an injury that drummer Dale Crover has been fighting in his back.
The drummer decided to release a statement regarding his situation yesterday on the band’s Facebook page:
Dear Friends,
I regret to inform you that I have to cancel our upcoming European tour. I’ve been dealing with a back related injury and I’m unable to perform at this time.
I feel awful that I have to let you all down like this. I want to assure you that I’m working very hard to return 100% better! We will come back as soon as we can.
Thank you for understanding,
Dale Crover
