Metal bands Municipal Waste and Napalm Death have announced a tour together for later this year. The tour will take place throughout the United States, taking the groups to major cities such as Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Consisting of a total of 17 shows, the fall tour will take place from the beginning of October to the end of the month. The tour will also be supported by the bands Sick Of It All and Take Offense, as well as other groups at various different performances.

Municipal Waste is a heavy metal band from Virginia who is known for its 2007 album, The Art of Partying. The group most recently released its sixth studio album, titled Slime And Punishment. Some of the more popular songs from the new project include the title track “Slime and Punishment” and the song “Breathe Grease.” The newly announced tour is partially in support of the album, which will hit its second year anniversary later this month. The project was released on Nuclear Blast Records and was engineered by the band’s bassist Phil Hall.

Napalm Death is a bit of an older group, getting its start in the 1980s. The intense metal band comes from England, where it spent much of its early career gaining a dedicated fan base. The group released its debut album in 1987, a project titled Scum. From there the band went on to release over a dozen albums and become one of the more well known death metal bands of the 1990s. The group has continued to be active in recent years, even releasing a new live album earlier this year. Fans of both bands should be sure to check out the tour dates below to see if the Municipal Waste and Napalm Death co-headlining tour is coming to their city later this year.
