Empire Control Room & Garage will be hosting a Benefit for the Staff of Beerland with music, food, and friends this Thursday, June 6th.
The friendly hardworking staff over at the much-loved Beerland have yet to be paid for their dedication to the Austin music scene since SXSW. These people have worked tirelessly to keep the dream alive for numerous bands touring through Austin. The goal of the event is to get these people, who work to support smaller growing bands who struggle to get booker’s to give them much attention, paid.
To help raise the necessary funds, there will be raffles and giveaways, a bake sale and good ole Texas BBQ! Broken Gold is the only band booked to play thus far, although more are expected to announce soon. Doors will open at 5pm with music starting by 6pm.
